THE SOUL THAT REALIZES

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
(Psalm 139: 14)

Have you ever forgotten where you put something, for example your glasses? We feel like we just held it, but now really do not know where it is. Searched for it, could not find it. Then we pause for a moment, trying to remember one by one our activities. Sometimes, without realizing it, we put glasses on our own heads. Then, we chuckle to ourselves, happy to realize that the glasses are perched on our heads.

In our lives, we also need to be silent for a moment every day. What for? To always remember every passing event. Remembering how God and God’s help are an integral part of our lives. God is not far away. God is very close and always close. How much we have gone through with God up to our senior age like now. Many roads are full of twists and turns, crossed because God gives courage. God has wiped many tears from our cheeks. We have received a lot of strength from God, so that we are able to carry heavy burdens. God’s endless blessings fill our days. That is the miracle of God’s actions! May our souls realize it!

Dear God who continues to fill us with love, how we want our souls to be aware of all Your miraculous deeds. Help us always be aware of it, so that our lives will be full of gratitude. In Christ, we ask. Amen.
