GOD’S CONFIDENCE THAT CONFIRMS

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, a servant of God was asked to serve the funeral service for a congregation member who died due to the virus. He had to enter the hospital room where the body was being prepared for burial. The situation in hospitals which implement strict health protocols makes the atmosphere very tense. The situation in the Covid-19 patient ward is very risky for healthy people who enter it. However, with confidence in God’s presence, God’s servant continued to carry out his duties with determination until the body was buried. And God protects him from harm..

Seniors, in this life we ​​may have to go through an unpleasant situation, which the psalmist calls the valley of the shadow of death. Maybe we suffer from illness, or we have to live alone because the people we love left us first. When all that happens, we definitely feel sad and lonely. If these things happen and we cannot avoid them, then we must remember God’s promise that He will always be with us when life’s journey feels difficult. God’s presence will strengthen and strengthen us through these difficult times.
